JAKARTA - The high court of the County of Santa Clara, United States (US) has issued a restraining order against a woman who is suspected of threatening, harassing, and stalking Apple CEO, Tim Cook, for more than a year.
According to Apple in court filings, the woman has since at least 2020 been tagging Cook on Twitter and threatening Cook via email by sending him photos of the gun and ammunition and traveling to his home.
Between late October 2020 and early November 2020, Apple said the woman emailed Cook about 200 times, in a significantly escalating tone, becoming threatening and deeply disturbing.
At one point in October last year, the woman allegedly attempted to make personal contact with Cook and trespassed on his Cook's Palo Alto, California property on two occasions, but was immediately stopped by local police.
He also claimed to be his wife and said they had twins. Apple said in its court filing that he was driving a Porsche with Virginia license plates.
In fact, the woman had written a private message insinuating she wanted a sexual relationship with Cook, stating she couldn't live any longer and that her patience was almost over.

A County of Santa Clara order has banned the woman. But his lawyer could not be reached for comment. Unfortunately, it is not known for sure who this woman is. The company believes he may be armed and located somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area, intending to return to the Cook residence or find him soon.
This is the latest in a series of incidents in which stalkers have targeted the leaders of powerful and wealthy tech companies in their homes.
Many companies are now paying for personal security for their executives. In this case, Apple spent 630,630 dollars last year just on Cook.
