Bali United Lost Two Points When Jamu PSIS, Teco Still Enthusiastic

JAKARTA- Bali United coach, Stefano Cugurra Teco is disappointed with the results of the match his team won in week 10 of the 2021 Indonesian League 1. Although disappointed, Teco seems to be still heartened after his team lost two points against PSIS.

Bali United played against PSIS on Sunday, October 31 at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman. As the host in this match, Serdadu Tridatu was actually able to create dominance over the visitors. However, the hard efforts of Stefano Lilipaly and his friends still have not yielded results.

This can be seen from the final result of the match which forced Bali United to lose two points because the score was 0-0. Responding to the performance of his players on the field, Teco was clearly not happy but he did not deny that in this match Bali United was also able to create many opportunities.

"There were a lot of chances but we couldn't score. For sure we are not happy with this result, we lost two points," Teco said in a virtual post-match press conference.

The 0-0 draw between Bali United and PSIS then forced the hosts down to 6th in the standings with 16 points. Meanwhile, PSIS who also had to share one point actually shot up to 3rd position in the standings.

The nick was clearly a bitter thing for Stefano Cugurra Teco and the team, but it turned out that the coach was still able to accept the result of this match with a big heart. The reason is, according to Teco, the match against PSIS is still early enough to be used as a benchmark and he also understands that Bali United still has a lot of match agendas that have not been carried out.

"We haven't finished the first round so there are still many matches. Everything can change with many matches," he continued.

After playing the match against PSIS, Bali United itself was waiting for Persipura Jayapura at the Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul. Looking at the statistics of potential opponents, in the match later, Bali United is clearly the favorite.

Currently, Serdadu Tridatu is in 6th position. While Persipura Jayapura as the host is far adrift in 17th position with 5 points.

Based on calculations and confidence in his team, Teco also said that in the upcoming match he hopes that Bali United can rise and achieve a full victory.

"Hopefully in the nearest match (against Persipura Jayapura) we can win again," hoped Teco.
