JAKARTA - Striker Sergio Aguero was taken to hospital after complaining of discomfort in his chest during the match between Barcelona and Alaves in the Spanish League on Saturday night local time.

Quoted from Sky Sports, Sunday, October 31, Sergio Aguero was seen holding his chest.

He will then undergo a heart check at the hospital as a precaution, after leaving the pitch in an ambulance.

As a result of this, Sergio Aguero was withdrawn before half-time after several minutes of treatment and was subsequently replaced by attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

This news was also confirmed by the Barcelona Twitter account @FCBarcelona which wrote that Sergio Aguero felt discomfort in his chest and was taken to the hospital for a heart check.

In this match, Barcelona had to share points with Alaves after previously taking the lead through Memphis Depay in the 49th minute and Luis Rioja equalizing in the 52nd minute.

​​​​Sergio Aguero had just made his Barcelona debut on Sunday (17/10) when the match against Valencia in the Spanish League replaced Sergino Dest in the 87th minute.

Sergio Aguero has joined Barcelona since May 31, 2021, but he was only able to make his debut in the official competition during the match against Valencia because he was previously injured.
