JAKARTA - Evander Holyfield will return to the boxing ring on Saturday, September 11 against former UFC star Vitor Belfort.
Oscar De La Hoya was originally due to fight Brazilian fighter Belfort but was forced out of the fight after the Mexican tested positive for COVID-19.
The fight also had to be moved from the Staples Center in Los Angeles to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida after the California State Athletic Commission refused to allow the fight, due to Holyfield's age.
The former cruiserweight and heavyweight champion will turn 59 in October.
Triller's fight promoter has not confirmed whether the fight will be professional or exhibition. However, it will feature eight rounds and two minutes per round.

Holyfield has not fought since 2011 when he knocked out Brian Nielsen. But Belfort last fought in the UFC in 2018.
