JAKARTA – On the third day of training at the Izu Velodrome, Indonesian para-cyclist Muhammad Fadli Imammudin focused on speed and target time and finalizing the start.
Training ahead of appearing at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, Fadli was supervised by the coach Fadilah Umar. Today, he practiced for more than two hours.
"Today's training went well. Training is still focused on the ideal pace for the target time to be achieved," said Fadli quoting Antara, Sunday, August 22.
"Earlier, we also had a standing start exercise by using a start block to get a starting combination," added Fadli.

According to him, today's training was a little hard to get a more ideal spin.
"Because the 16-lap race is quite tough, so you have to be consistent in every lap," added Fadli.
The Bogor-born athlete also had three times to start training to find the best performance.
"At the first standing start the results were not satisfactory, but the second and third experiments showed better results," said Fadli.
Fadli still has two training sessions before appearing in the Tokyo Paralympic cycling para-cycling event scheduled for August 26 and 27.
Fadli will compete in the C4-5 category in the 1000 meter time trial and C4 in the 4000-meter individual pursuit category.
