Erling Haaland has vowed Manchester City will continue to fight to win everything after the end of their incredible journey with Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola ended his tenure after 10 glorious years as Manchester City Manager in an open bus parade in Manchester, followed by a presentation at Co-op Live on Monday, May 25, 2026, local time.

The event was held to celebrate the team's doubles victory in the domestic tournament as well as the club's victory in the Women's Super League and the Youth FA Cup.

However, the 19,000 spectators who filled the arena - and thousands more gathered outside - all wanted to say goodbye to Guardiola and old players Bernardo Silva and John Stones.

Bayern Munich manager and former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany returned to Manchester for the celebrations, as did Ederson, Fernandinho and Jack Grealish.

Guardiola has won 20 trophies in a decade with the Citizens, but striker Haaland is determined to ensure that success does not end with his departure.

"It's been a season of ups and downs, but we will continue to strive and fight to win the biggest trophies we can."

"That's what we want to win and we're fighting to win it all again. It's an honor to play with Bernardo and John, and of course with Pep."

"It's been an incredible journey, but we need to keep working and fighting even without them. Now it's time to celebrate them and they are really club legends," said Haaland.

After completing their journey from the city center, the team bus headed straight for the main arena inside Co-op Live.

Guardiola was invited to speak after the 20 trophies won during his tenure were brought onto the stage by players, coaches and figures associated with the club, including Oasis star Noel Gallagher.

"Thank you so much for coming here tonight to say goodbye. I feel the connection this club has from the first minute."

"Thank you so much, I don't have enough gratitude. I will keep (gratitude) for my whole life," said Guardiola.

Meanwhile, at the event dedicated to the women's team, all-time leading scorer Khadija Shaw announced that she had signed a new contract, ending speculation linking her with Chelsea.
