Indonesia Masters 2026: Two Red-White Representatives to the Final

Alwi Farhan advanced to the final of the 2026 Indonesia Masters (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA - Indonesia sent two representatives to the 2026 Indonesia Masters final. The six Red-White representatives who played the semifinal match at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday, January 24, 2026, have played all.

Indonesia has actually secured one final ticket in the men's doubles. This is because the fifth seed, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Muhammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin meet in the last four.

The match was won by Raymond/Nikolaus two sets straight with a score of 21-19 and 21-14 in a match that lasted 36 minutes.

The victory was also a revenge for Raymond/Nikolaus who in the first clash with Sabar/Reza at the 2026 Malaysia Open lost two sets straight.

Raymond/Nikolaus's move was followed by Alwi Farhan's men's singles. He managed to win two sets straight 21-11 and 21-12 against the Chinese Taipei singles, Chi Yu Jen. It was Alwi Farhan's first clash with Chi Yu Jen.

Unfortunately, the steps of the two Indonesian representatives were not followed by the mixed doubles of Jafar Hidayatullah/Felsiha Pasaribu. They were bent by the Danish pair, Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Boje.

In a 1 hour 9 minute battle, Jafar/Felisha lost the three-game battle, 22-20, 19-21, and 17-21.

Two Indonesian women's doubles also failed to reach the final. Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum surrendered to Arisa Igarashi/Miyu Takahashi (Japan) in a three-game match, 12-21, 21-19, and 21-13.

Meanwhile, Apriyani Rahayu/Lanny Tria Mayasari lost to the first-seeded team from Malaysia, Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan, two games straight, 15-21 and 9-21.

Alwi Farhan will face Thailand's Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul in the final on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Then, Raymond/Nikolaus face the fourth seeded Malaysian doubles at the 2026 Indonesia Masters, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin.
