Visiting Jakarta, PSIM Yogyakarta Wants To Damage Persija's Birthday Moment

PSIM, Jean Paul van Gastel, wants to earn three points at home to Persija (VOI/Ulfa Gusti).

JAKARTA - The continuation of the 2025/2026 Super League has scheduled the Yogyakarta PSIM to travel to Persija Jakarta headquarters. Coinciding with that, PSIM intends to destroy the moment of the host's 97th birthday by stealing three points.

PSIM and Persija will meet at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 19.00 WIB. On the same day, Persija will also hold a lively match to celebrate the anniversary.

The management of the Kemayoran Tigers has even prepared a number of series of events to celebrate the anniversary of the proud team of the citizens of Jakarta.

However, the PSIM coach, Jean Paul van Gastel, wanted to damage Persija's party. He has ambitions to win in front of The Jakmania.

"In the previous match against Persis Solo, we could also damage his birthday party. So, in the match later (against Persija) we will also aim for three points," said Van Gastel in a press conference session ahead of the match in Jakarta, Thursday, November 27, 2025.

"The team's performance is good with good individual abilities and long balls. We only focus on our own team against Persija," he said.
