The Indonesian Futsal National Team Holds TC To Prepare For The 2025 SEA Games

The head coach of the Indonesian Futsal National Team, Hector Souto, is ready to lead the 2025 SEA Games preparation team (doc. FFI).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) officially announced a list of 20 Indonesian Futsal National Team (Timnas) players who were summoned to attend the training camp (TC) for the preparation of the Thailand 2025 SEA Games, which will take place on December 13-20, 2025.

The selected players are scheduled to join on November 24, 2025 in Jakarta before leaving for Thailand.

This training camp is part of the FFI strategic program in preparing the Indonesian Futsal National Team which is competitive, consistent, and international standard.

All players were selected through a rigorous evaluation process by the head coach and technical team of the Indonesian Futsal National Team.

The head coach of the Indonesian Futsal National Team, Hector Souto, emphasized that the summons for players this time was carefully drawn up based on the needs of the team.

"Player selection takes into account their relationship with the game system we are currently building, as well as tactical needs according to the SEA Games tournament format," he said.

He emphasized that the squad was chosen based on the analysis of the league's performance and the current condition of the players.

"We believe this group of players is the best combination to face the SEA Games. We always uphold the ability and performance above all else."

"Usia or reputation does not affect decisions, as long as a player performs well, he will always be on the radar of the Indonesian Futsal National Team," he said.

The Secretary-General of FFI, Perbager, said that this summons was an important part of the preparation of the Indonesian Futsal National Team towards an international agenda in 2025'2026.

FFI appreciates the support of Pro Futsal League (PFL) participating clubs and ensures that all technical needs, including accommodation, transportation, and training programs will be managed professionally by the Indonesian Futsal National Team.

With a mix of experienced players and young talents who are on-fire in the league, the Indonesian Futsal National Team is ready to look at the 2025 Thailand SEA Games with high optimism to provide the best achievement for the Red and White.

The futsal sport competes in the male and female categories. For men's futsal, five countries will certainly participate, namely Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Malaysia. All matches will take place at the Nonthaburi Stadium, Thailand.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Women's Futsal National Team is also being prepared for the 2025 SEA Games. The Garuda Pertiwi squad will only face Vietnam and Myanmar, where all matches will be held at BTU Hall, Bangkok, Thailand.
