Delvis Rettob Elected as Chairman of the PP Presidium of PMKRI

JAKARTA - The Central Management of the Association of Catholic Students of the Republic of Indonesia held a Meeting of the Consultative Assembly of Members (MPA) of PMKRI at the PPO Manggarai Sports Arena, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Tuesday, July 28.

In the musyarawah, Delvis Rettob from PMKRI Ambon Branch was elected as the MPA Mandataris, Single Formatur as well as Chairman of the Presidium of the Central Management of PMKRI Sanctus Thomas Aquinas Period 2026-2028.

The election of Delvis as the chairman of the PP PMKRI was immediately accompanied by the song "Tinggikan" which was popularized by the musician from Maluku, Glenn Fredly. The melody of the song made the trial stop for a moment. Participants, especially Delvis supporters, were immersed in a sad atmosphere. Tears and hugs colored the courtroom as an expression of joy at the election results.

The appointment of Delvis ended the series of elections for the Chairman of the PP Presidium of PMKRI which took place in two rounds. Established by Acclamation

In the second round, only Delvis Rettob was in the courtroom, while the other candidate was absent. The condition was then discussed in the forum.

The Ad Hoc Committee, led by Rito Naga from PMKRI Maumere Branch together with Secretary Yakobus Sanherip Lanikari from PMKRI Langgur Branch, asked for the approval of the participants in the session so that Delvis was elected by acclamation as the Mandataris of the MPA, Single Formator, as well as the Chairman of the PP Presidium of PMKRI to replace Susana Kandaimu.
