Prabowo made the statement when he inaugurated the Pamong Praja Muda Angkatan XXXIII of the Institute of Internal Government (IPDN) for 2026 in Sumedang Regency, West Java, Wednesday, July 29.

According to the President, the graduates of IPDN who were inaugurated today will be in the government when the period arrives. Some of them are even expected to occupy strategic positions, including becoming regional heads.

He emphasized that economic progress must be seen in the lives of the people. There should be no hungry people, children who drop out of school, people who have difficulty getting health services, or families who do not have decent homes.
Prabowo also reminded that major policies could fail if they were not properly implemented by the bureaucracy. Therefore, IPDN graduates are asked to become government drivers who are able to translate state programs into tangible results.
"The biggest ideas, the biggest plans, the best policies, if they are not implemented in the field, the big ideas will fail," he said.
He asked the village assistants to maintain integrity, work closely with the people, and not prioritize personal or group interests. According to Prabowo, the quality of the apparatus will determine whether Indonesia's opportunity to become a developed country can really be realized.
