Sepang 2025 FP1 MotoGP Results: Fastest Fermin

Fermin Aldeguer became the fastest in the 2025 Malaysian MotoGP FP1 (Instagram/@ferminaldeguer_54).

JAKARTA Fermin Aldeguer has the best time in the First Free Practice (FP1) MotoGP Malaysia 2025 which was disturbed by heavy rain.

The racer, who is a rookie, performed solidly on the Sepang International Circuit track and scored the best lap time of two minutes 0.199 seconds on Friday, October 24, 2025, morning WIB.

The Spaniard who defended Gresini Racing won a time record over two-time world champion Francesco Bagnaia who finished in second place. The two riders were separated by a time difference of +0.256 seconds.

Joan Mir followed the two names in third place. The Honda HRC Castrol driver completes the top three positions with a time gap from Fermin of +0.349 seconds.

The Spaniard is in front of Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Tech3). Pol is back to replace Maverick Vinales, who is still absent due to a shoulder injury problem.

Then followed Marco Bezzecki from Aprilia Racing ending FP1 in fifth position. The 26-year-old racer was followed by his compatriot, Luca Marini (Honda HRC Castrol).

Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) was still able to secure the seventh place even though he had fallen. The eighth position is occupied by Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team).

The accident was also experienced by Jack Miller from Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP, but managed to occupy the ninth position. Then Pedro Alcohol completes the top 10.

This season's remaining race is certainly not followed by Marc Marquez anymore. The 2025 season world champion is absent until the end of the season because it requires recovery in shoulder injuries.
