Bagnaia Calls The Bad Effect Of One Team With Marc Marquez

JAKARTA - Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia expressed the bad effects of a team with Marc Marquez. He made this statement ahead of the 2025 Malaysian MotoGP this weekend.

This season doesn't seem to be running smoothly for Bagnaia. After being runner-up in MotoGP last season, Pecco - Bagnaia's nickname - is struggling to compete in the title race.

To fight for the runner-up position, Bagnaia also struggled to compete with Alex Marquez. In the midst of the difficult situation, Marc Marquez, who is his teammate, actually impressed and won the 2025 MotoGP.

Marquez's slick record is quite metal pressure to Bagnaia. The reason is that the two Ducati riders use the same motorbike, GP25.

"When you have a teammate who does what Marc (Marquez) does beside you with the same bike, it's difficult."

Bagnaia, who has won MotoGP twice, also revealed that one of the bad effects of having a teammate like Marquez is great. The presence of The Baby Alien actually made him not feel weak.

"I'm wondering a lot of things to myself because I don't recognize myself, I can't believe that."

"I have teammates who are always there. If you are weak, this can make you weaker," said Bagnaia.
