JAKARTA Daniel Dubois will negotiate with Frank Sanchez from Cuba to get an elimination fight to become a mandatory challenger for the IBF heavyweight belt.
Frank Warren as Dubois promoter, told Sky Sport, ensuring that his client will return to the boxing ring next year and is ready to arrange a big fight.
"We will sit down together and obviously the fight (against Frank Sanchez) will be held," he said.
Dubois is a former IBF title holder. He defeated Anthony Joshua last year before finally losing to Oleksandr Usyk on July 19, 2025 at Wembley.

The defeat made him lose his belt and gave Usyk an undisputed solidification of his status as world heavyweight champion for the second time.
Mike Borao, who is Sanchez's manager, said his client was very open to accepting the fight against the former IBF heavyweight world champion.
"Frank Sanchez has clearly stated that he will fight Dubois in England, Saudi Arabia, the United States, or anywhere else," Mike said.
So far, three names have decided to reject the elimination fight against Sanchez. One of them is young fighter Moses Ituma.
Mike said that the fighting style of Sanchez and Dubois will present a very explosive fighter and will certainly greatly entertain the audience.
"I am optimistic that Daniel will not be the fourth (fight) (to reject the duel against Sanchez)," he said.
