Having The Opportunity To Appear At The 2025 SEA Games, Cahya Supriadi Wants To Present Gold For Indonesia

Cahya Supriadi wants Indonesia U-23 to present the 2025 SEA Games gold (doc. Indonesian national team).

The U-23 Indonesian national team goalkeeper, Cahya Supriadi, is determined to present gold at the 2025 SEA Games which will take place in Thailand.

Currently Cahya Supriadi is on the list of 32 players who are called to undergo a training camp (TC) in Jakarta. If you perform well and meet the criteria, the opportunity is open for Cahya to be an option in the main squad.

From that opportunity, he had a strong determination to bring back the gold which in the previous edition was successfully brought home by the Indonesian national team.

"We have passed the first TC (train camp) in preparation for the 2025 SEA Games. We have made preparations a week."

"Of course all the players are working hard, want to bring gold back to Indonesia, and we will give our best for the 2025 SEA Games," said Cahya Supriadi during a press conference before the match on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

Indonesia is targeting to win gold again in the football sport at the 2025 SEA Games, after successfully becoming a champion in Cambodia in the previous edition.

In this preparation, there were two test agendas against India U-23 on 10 and 13 October 2025 at the Gelora Bung Karno Intermediate Stadium, Jakarta, at 20.00 WIB.

Cahya is not new to this team because he was part of the previous team when he appeared in the 2025 AFF U-23 Cup and 2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers who were coached by Gerald Vanenburg.

Of the two tournaments, the PSIM Yogyakarta goalkeeper appeared four times as a starter.

Meanwhile, for the test match against India, coach Indra Sjafri will maximize all his players to perform.

According to the coach, this is the right time to see the quality of the players who are being prepared for the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand in December.

"The context of this trial is so that I get as clear and detailed information about 32 players who are called up."

"Therefore, I will play all players tomorrow (against India), with two matches, namely the 10th and the 13th (October 2025)," said Indra.
