Persija Coach's Restu For Rizky Ridho's Career Abroad

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta coach, Mauricio Souza, gave his full blessing to Rizky Ridho to continue his career abroad.

Recently, it was rumored that Ridho, who is also the captain of Persija Jakarta, had established communication with the Malaysian club, Terengganu FC.

Regarding the situation of the player, Souza did not care. The Brazilian coach actually gave his full support if Ridho really wanted to have a career in the international arena.

"In my opinion, for that he can leave the country, it is Ridho and Persija's decision. I hope he will be happy, if that is his wish, he will leave. That is something I cannot control," said Mauricio Souza as quoted by Antara, Friday, September 26, 2025.

Obviously, Souza also stated that Ridho is a player who does have qualified capital to spread his wings. Moreover, he is also recorded as having 46 appearances in the Indonesian national team.

"Ridho is a great player. However, no player can't be replaced. Ridho, as I've said, is an important player for us."

"If he gets a good offer and wants to leave, and according to Persija (transfer agreement) it makes sense," said Souza.

Ridho first came to defend the Kemayoran Tigers in the 2023/2024 season. Until now Ridho has played 66 times for the Kemayoran Tigers.
