There Are Challenges For MLBB Teams And PUBGM At IESF 2025, Trainers Speak Up

The coach of the Indonesian Esports National Team, Richard Permana, revealed that the national team for the Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) and PUBG Mobile numbers for the 2025 IESF World Esports Championship (WEC) were faced with challenges even before the world championship began.

"Furthermore, qualifying from the Asia Qualifier region in August. If you look in the mirror from last year, it means, PUBGM must finish Tip 3 Asia. MLBB Men's must finish with Top 2 SEA. This can all change depending on the announcement from the IESF later," Richard told ANTARA when contacted via instant message in Jakarta, Thursday.

The Executive Board of Esports Indonesia (PB ESI) has announced the booster or player who will be brought and fielded while participating in the 2025 IESF for PUBG Mobile and MLBB through the official social media federation account a few days ago.

The PUBG Mobile Indonesia national team was strengthened by Sharfan Syahman Shodiq, Vebryano Maulana, Micho Ananda Pratama Wijaya, and Reyza Ardana, and Deni Fianda as coaches.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian men's MLBB national team is Team Liquid ID which is also the same roster for the 2025 Thailand SEA Games men's MLBB national team which was announced earlier.

"The direct appointment is the same as the SEA Games, with certain indicators from BTN (National National National Team Agency)," said Richard.

Furthermore, Richard explained that if the challenges from the PUBG Mobile and MLBB national teams, namely thelos from Asia Qualifier, were achieved, then Indonesia would follow six match numbers on the WEC25 IESF.

The six match numbers are CS2 and DOTA 2 for PC, MLBB Putra, MLBB Putri, and PUBG Mobile for mobile devices, as well as 1vs1 eFootball for consoles.

So far, PB ESI has introduced three boosters for PUBG Mobile, MLBB Putra, CS2, and DOTA 2. Richard revealed that MLBB Putri is the defending champion team, which means that they are the same team as the women's MLBB national team for the 2025 SEA Games Thailand.

The Indonesian Women's MLBB national team consists of Vivi Indrawaty, Michelle Denise Siswanto, Venny Lim, Cindy Laurent Siswanto, Viorelle Valencia Chen, and Ilyas Rahmanda as coaches and Sherly Sindra as assistant coaches.
