Taufik emphasized that Jonathan and Chico remain part of the PBSI family. He said that both of them would always be under the auspices of the Indonesian badminton federation.
"They will continue to strengthen the Indonesian national team in official international championships. They are an inseparable part of the PBSI extended family," said Taufik.

"We have discussed since the end of last year and together agreed that this process will be carried out with the right time and transition until the 2025 Sudirman Cup is complete," said Jonatan.
Chico said he was happy to have been given the opportunity to become a Pelatnas player since 2017.
"Thank you profusely to PBSI and to the General Chairperson of Mr. Fadil Imran, the administrators, coaches, and fellow athletes who have always supported me during my time as an athlete," said Chico.
