JAKARTA The Jakarta International Equestrian Park Pulomas (JIEPP) race arena will be be beautified with an estimated cost of approximately 100 billion.

The restoration of the location was carried out thanks to the collaboration between the Central Board of the Indonesian Equestrian Sports Association (PP Pordasi) and PT Pulo Mas Jaya (PMJ) and PT Arena Pacu Nusantara (Sarga Land).

The cooperation agreement between these parties was carried out at the Jakarta International Equestrian Park Pulomas (JIEPP), Pulomas, East Jakarta, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Chairman of PP Pordasi, Aryo Djojohadikusumo, that efforts to revive the Pulomas race arena are the aspirations desired by all horse racing communities throughout Indonesia.

"This is exactly the same as the direction of President Prabowo Subianto to re-develop the horse race in Pulomas," Aryo told the media after the signing ceremony.

JIEPP's optimization step has been started since 2023. After going through a long process of searching for strategic partners, PT Pulo Mas Jaya finally collaborated with PT Arena Pacu Nusantara.

This restoration made JIEPP an arena with equestrian sports facilities integrated in Indonesia and not only as a place for equestrian matches.

JIEPP plans to become a training and match center for all equestrian sports disciplines in Indonesia such as equestrian riding, equestrian riding, archery riding, and polo with international standards.

Aryo said that he wanted JIEPP to be restored to a higher level. One of them is facilities that can support night race events aka night race.

"That's where equestrians can become entertainment events so that they can become extraordinary tourist destinations, which can be watched live on the field or on television," he said.

The construction of the race facilities at JIEPP will begin soon. The target is that international events can be held in the first quarter (Q1) in 2026.

Sarga.co co-Founder, Aseanto Oudang, ensured that the construction of facilities in Pulomas would cost well above 100 billion.

"My job is to find investors to cooperate with us. So, we are happy to be collaborating with PMJ and Pordasi support to secure international events," he said.

Aryo said that this optimization made JIEPP have a capacity of approximately up to eight thousand spectators. That's outside of spectators who don't have seating access.

"Unically, from this race there are facilities for those who watch it for free. From VIP guests to regular public guests who don't need to pay, they can be accommodated," said Prabowo Subianto's nephew.

In addition to focusing on increasing JIEPP to the international level, Pordasi will also actively develop other horse racing locations outside Java. One of them is in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).
