Bahrain Coach Highlights Indonesian National Team Players Who Are Always New In Each Match

JAKARTA - Bahrain coach, Dragan Talajic, highlighted the composition of the Indonesian national team players which he considered to be always filled with new players when giving a statement in a press conference before Monday, March 24, 2025, WIB night.

Talajic said that the new Garuda squad player did not come from Indonesia. According to him, Indonesia's steps were not wrong, but he considered this not in accordance with the population.

"I've watched a lot of matches (Indonesia). However, every time I watch, I see two new players, but from the Netherlands and England, nothing from Indonesia."

"You have millions of people, but most of them come from the Netherlands. However, there is nothing wrong, we respect the Indonesian national team and we came to win," said Talajic.

Not only commenting on the situation of Indonesian national team players, but Talajic also conveyed the impression he got when he visited Jakarta which coincided with the month of Ramadan.

The coach said, the atmosphere of Ramadan in Jakarta was so felt and made the players also feel comfortable undergoing activities. Not surprisingly, this Croatian coach stated that the readiness of his players was very mature.

"About Ramadan, this is the time for us to enjoy. It's the holy month. Our players enjoy it, you enjoy it. We are happy to enjoy this holy month."

"The players are happy and will be ready (against the Indonesian national team) during Ramadan. You must also be like that. We love playing in the middle of Ramadan," said the coach.

The Indonesian national team will host Bahrain in the eighth match of Group C of the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 25, 2025, WIB night.
