JAKARTA - Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford was absent from a one-day training session before his team host Granada in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals which will take place at Old Trafford on Thursday local time (Friday GMT).

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed Rashford still felt pain in his legs so he missed Wednesday's training session, which has left him now questionable as to whether he can play for the second leg.

"Yes, Marcus didn't train this morning, I'll give him the time it takes, he's still having a bit of pain, hopefully, he can perform tomorrow," Solskjaer said in a pre-match press conference reported by Antara from MU's official website on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, Daniel James, who missed last weekend's game against Tottenham Hotspur, said Solskjaer was fit enough to perform.

Nevertheless, MU has been confirmed without its three pillars, Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay, and Harry Maguire who were suspended for collecting yellow cards.

"And James is back. He trained this morning, so he can definitely play. But, of course, we lost some players because of the suspension for tomorrow's game," Solskjaer said.

'Not being able to have all the players available is definitely not something positive. But we've got players who are ready to play a substitute role and take part in the team. We are ready to deal with the situation," he added.

Although certainly without at least three players, MU on paper only needs a draw to be able to lock up a Europa League semi-final ticket, armed with the 2-0 win they won at Granada a week ago.

If qualified, in the semi-finals MU will face the winner between Ajax and AS Roma.
