Indonesia together with four other countries that will hold three different categories will receive a share of the host after going through an open bidding process and then getting approval from the FIVB Administrative Council.

The other four countries appointed to host different world championships in the same year's men's and women's categories are Croatia, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and China.

Croatia and Serbia will host the women's U-19 which will be held on July 7-20 2025. The men's team in the same category will take place from July 21 to August 3, 2024 in Uzbekistan.

"In the U-21 category, the 2025 Women's World Championships will take place in Indonesia on 4-17 August 2024," reads the announcement from the FIVB on their official website.

Meanwhile, the U-21 men's category will take place in China on August 18-31, 2024.
