Thom Haye Moment Gives Jersey To Toddlers

Noah, a toddler who was given a jersey by Thom Haye (VOI/Ferry Tri Adi Sasono).

JAKARTA - Noah, a four-year-old boy with a mini Red and White flag on his back, who watched the Indonesian vs Australian national team match with his father receive warm greetings directly from Thom Haye.

The Garuda squad midfielder gave Noah the jersey he was wearing.

The moment occurred after the match. As usual, after making a circle in the middle of the field and singing the song Tanah Airku with supporters, the Indonesian national team players and coaches greeted all the supporters by walking around the field through the sajan track.

At the last point before entering the dressing room, Thom Haye stopped for a moment to meet Noah who was waiting for him on the edge of the stands.

Haye immediately took off his jersey and gave it to Noah. The toddler responded with Haye.

Then, Noah looked confused when Haye tried to wear a jersey. The meeting of the two ended with a photo together.

After the jersey was given by Thom Haye, several supporters were seen taking pictures with Noah. Not a few also borrowed Thom Haye jerseys to capture the moment.

"Yes, Noah is four years old. I'm really happy to get a jersey from Thom Haye. We were standing on the edge of the stands, maybe Thom Haye saw this kid and I don't know why he gave Noah a jersey," Noah's father told VOI.id.

Noah's father further commented on Haye's playing as a substitute.

"Haye's appearance is extraordinary, it's really amazing," he said.
