Cristiano Ronaldo Has Been Named The Most Goalprinter Throughout The Champions League

JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo received the Most Goalscorers in the Champions League. The inauguration was held at the 2024/2025 Champions League draw at Monaco, Thursday, August 29, 2024, WIB night.

The award trophy was immediately given by UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin.

Ronaldo has contributed greatly to the European club's main tournament for more than 18 years.

The former Sporting SP striker, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus have scored 140 Champions League goals in 183 appearances.

He is 11 goals ahead of Lionel Messi and 46 goals from Robert Lewandowski who is in third place at the top of the scorer list.

Ronaldo has completed seven Champions League seasons as the top scorer. That record is more than any other player.

He then helped Real Madrid claim their third consecutive title in the 2017/2018 Champions League with a contribution of 15 goals.

He also holds the record for the most goals in a Champions League season after scoring 17 goals in the 2013/2014 season, including in extra wins against Atletico de Madrid in the final.

The Portuguese has won the Champions League once with Manchester United and four times with Real Madrid.

This achievement made him the first player in the history of the Champions League to win five times since 1992.

In addition, Ronaldo is the only player to score in three separate Champions League finals (2008, 2014, 2017).

He also holds a record for the longest goal streak in the Champions League after scoring in 11 games in a row from June 2017 to April 2018. Ronaldo has also scored eight stunning Champions League hat trickes.
