Fadillah Arbi Gets Wildcard To Appear At The Aragon Grand Prix

JAKARTA The young racer belonging to Indonesia, Fadillah Arbi Aditama, will certainly participate in the Moto3 class race at the Aragon Grand Prix (GP) which will take place this weekend.

The MotoGP Grand Prix Aragon is scheduled to take place at the Ciudad del Motor de Aragon Circuit, known as the MotorLand Aragon in Spain, on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

This is the second time Arbi has competed quickly on the 2024 season Grand Prix track. He made another appearance when he got a wildcard to appear in Moto3 Catalunya 2024 in May 2024.

Arbi said that GP Aragon would offer a fantastic opportunity to gain more experience in the Moto3 category. Especially when appearing in Catalunya. he hasn't fully recovered from injury.

"My first Wildcard in Catalunya didn't go as expected because I wasn't 100 percent fit due to the injury I experienced before the Grand Prix," Arbi said in a Honda Team Asia statement.

Arbi admitted that currently his physical condition is much fitter so he wants to be able to pay the maximum to pay for the trust given by the team to him.

"I am confident and ready to give my best on the Spanish track and are eyeing positive results. I will try my best to learn as much from this experience as wildcard," he said.

Arbi started his international racing career at the Asia Talent Cup in the 2021 season when he was 15 years old. Currently he is entering his second season competing in the FIM JuniorGP.

The manager of the Honda Team Asia Team, Hiroshi Aoyama, is quite confident in the ability of the Astra Honda Racing Team rider. He believes Arbi can compete in the Moto3 Aragon 2024 race in a more fit condition.

"In his first appearance at the Catalan GP earlier this year, his physical condition was not optimal due to the injury he suffered during training shortly before the event."

"However, now it appears in a much better condition and is ready to show its true potential on the motorbike," said Aoyama.

Arbi is one of two Indonesian racers who will appear in Aragon this weekend. Another name who participated in the show was Mario Aji, who took part in the Moto2 class.
