JAKARTA - The U-20 Indonesian national team player claims that the Garuda Muda troops are ready to fight in the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers. The match took place on September 21-29, 2024.

The U-20 Indonesian national team is in Group F along with Yemen, Timor Leste, and the Maldives.

Iqbal Gwijangge said his team did get many benefits after appearing in the 2024 AFF U-19 Cup and becoming a champion. Iqbal revealed that the moment of appearing in the event had increased quite rapidly for him and the team.

"Since returning from the 2024 AFF U-19 Cup, the mentality is even better," said Iqbal Gwijangge in a statement quoted on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Furthermore, the defender-positioned player said his team was also ready to fight in a mini tournament in South Korea against Argentina, Thailand, and the home team, from 28 August to 1 September 2024.

The event is a preparation for the U-20 Indonesian national team to appear in the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup Qualification.
