Drawing AFC Champions League 2 2024/2025: Persib Bandung Enters Group F

Persib will appear in the AFC Champions League 2 2024/2025 (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - Drawing AFC Championship League 2 2024/2025 was carried out on Friday, August 16, 2024, afternoon WIB. Persib Bandung, who is Indonesia's representative, is included in Group F along with three other teams.

Taking place at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Persib Bandung which entered pot four is confirmed to meet difficult opponents from the Eastern region.

The drawing results brought Persib Bandung to meet with Zhejiang FC (China), Port FC (Thailand), and Lion City Sailors FC (Singapore).

A group with Port FC opens up opportunities for Maung Bandung players to meet one of the Indonesian national team players, Asnawi Mangkualam. The player who had the status of captain of the Indonesian national team is now in the Port FC uniform.

Meanwhile, Lion City Sailors is the runner-up of the 2023 Singapore League. Then, Zhejiang occupies the third position in the 2023 Chinese Super League.

The entire group stage match will be played by home and away. This round will be held from September 18 to December 5, 2024.

The top two teams in each group will play in the round of 16 which will still be divided into zones (West and East). Persib Bandung is expected to at least end this phase as group runners-up.
