Preparations For The 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification, Indonesia U-17 Will TC In Spain

JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team is undergoing a training camp (TC) ahead of appearing in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification. One of them is the plan to fly to Spain.

Currently, Nova Arianto as the coach of the U-17 Indonesian national team is holding a selection of players in Jakarta to increase the team's strength to face the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification.

Furthermore, selected selection players will participate in TC in Bali and Jakarta to join the former 2024 AFF U-16 Cup players.

"Our plan (TC) is until August 12, yes. Later after August 12, we will go to Bali."

"We had two trials in Bali before the 31st (August). After that, we will return to Jakarta and we will TC in Spain," Nova Arianto said in his statement after leading the training at Senayan Field, Jakarta, on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

Meanwhile, during the selection in Jakarta, Nova admitted that he had promoted as a step to find players as needed.

"On August 5, 34 players entered, but we have promotions on August 8. There are several new players from batch 7 if I'm not mistaken. So, today's total is only 30 players," said Nova.

The 2024 U-17 Asian Cup qualification will be held on 19-27 October 2024 in 10 host countries. Indonesia's U-17 is in Group G with Australia, North Mariana Islands, and hosts Kuwait.
