JAKARTA The Central Board of the Indonesian Basketball Association (PP Perbasi) officially launched the Indonesian Basketball Mars by the band Govinda.
The mars launch event was held at Bajawa Kemang, Jakarta, South, on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at noon WIB. Mars will be a mandatory song at every Perbasi event in the future.
"I thank you. I have been helped to donate something extraordinary. Mars will later be used throughout Indonesia," said Perbasi Chairman Danny Kosasih.
Perbasi will then hold a socialization of the use of Mars Bakla Basket Indonesia to all members of the provincial management (Pengprov) starting Friday, August 9, 2024.
Secretary General of Perbasi, Nirmala Dewi, said that this march is very important for Perbasi to express enthusiasm and build and encourage the spirit of athletes.

"As a national federation, we open the space as wide as possible to anyone to provide a solution. Today we received a work for Indonesian basketball," said Nirmala.
Govinda plays the dominant role in working on this mars song. However, in the process they always discuss with Perbasi to finalize the direction of the desired song.
Ade Govinda, the band's guitarist and lyricist from this march, said that they were encouraged to create this march because of their emotional closeness to PP Perbasi.
"In my opinion, who will not be touched if the song will be played at important events, both nationally and internationally," said Ade.
