Liverpool Launches Official Store In Indonesia, Attended By One Of The Legendary Players

JAKARTA - Good news for fans of English football club Liverpool FC. They have just launched an official merchandise shop in Indonesia located at Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 2, South Jakarta.

To celebrate, a grand opening was held which was quite lively on Saturday, July 20 which was also enlivened by the legend Patrik Berger.

Apart from Berger, the inauguration of this shop was also attended by Mike Cox as Senior Vice President of Merchandising from Liverpool FC.

Located on the 2nd floor, the store has an area of 145m2 and is ready to serve Liverpool FC fans in the country. This store provides various types of official products from Liverpool FC, ranging from match uniforms and training kits from Nike, retro kits, and a series of other lifestyle products, to various accessories and hardware for collectors.

Liverpool FC fans can now easily get original products from their club of pride directly.

Berger, who during his career defended the Reds, scored 35 goals and 28 assists from 196 appearances at all competitions, said he was very happy with the opening of the shop.

"Of course this is a good thing with the presence of Liverpool FC officials in Indonesia. Because, we know that Indonesia has quite a large fan for Liverpool," said the 50-year-old man as quoted by ANTARA.

Berger's visit to this grand opening event included a press conference, inauguration, and holding a special Meet & Greet for Liverpool FC fans.

This activity is a rare opportunity for fans to meet and interact directly with Berger, who is one of the big stars in Liverpool's history who contributed five titles, one Europa League, one European Super Cup, one FA Cup, and two League Cups.

Kanmo Group, a retail company from Indonesia and its partner Weston Corp, proudly announced the celebration of the first Liverpool FC store in Indonesia.

"After being announced last May and the high enthusiasm of his fans, we are very happy to be able to inaugurate the first Liverpool FC store in Indonesia, located at Pondok Indah Mall 2. Meanwhile, the Brand Manager of Liverpool FC Retail Indonesia Febriansyah also said that his pride was finally able to bring Liverpool to Indonesia.

"I am very happy and proud to finally bring Liverpool here in Indonesia, Liverpool stores. That's because all the fans here are big fans. So yes, we are very proud to have the biggest supporters. One of the largest Liverpool supporters in the world is in Indonesia," said Febriansyah.

"So we have several missions here. First, strengthen the relationship between clubs and fans, with supporters. Second, with this store, we hope to be a forum for community friends from the community. And next is direct access to merchandise," he continued.

In the future, he said that his party would try to increase the number of collections that pamper fans at the Liverpool FC Indonesia Store.

Another collection? We're working on it. So we're now trying to do some other collections. If we look there, there's retro, there's going to be more retro, life style, junior women," she concluded.
