Playoff IBL 2024: Prawira Bandung And Satria Muda Hold Semifinal Tickets

JAKARTA - The 2024 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) playoffs were fierce. The meeting of Prawira Harum Bandung vs RANS Simba Bogor and Satria Muda vs Kesatria Bengawan Solo had to last up to three games.

In the third game, aka the determination which took place on Monday, July 15, 2024, Prawira and Satria Muda were finally able to secure tickets to the semifinals.

Prawira Harum, who plays at home, C-Tra Arena, was able to overthrow RANS Simba with a convincing score of 100-74.

Previously, Prawira had taken the first game by beating RANS Simba 81-66 while traveling at the IPB Vocational School on July 11, 2024.

However, RANS Simba managed to get up and equalize 1-1 after embarrassing Prawira at home with a 91-84 advantage.

In another match, Satria Muda also qualified for the semifinals with difficulty.

They had won 1-0 at home, Britama Arena, with a score of 90-64.

However, Kesatria Bengawan Solo successfully equalized 1-1 when appearing in front of his supporters, Sritex Arena Solo. They won with a tight score of 96-93.

However, the rise of the Bengawan Solo Knight did not continue in the third game. They lost by a margin of 68-98 even though they played at home.

The next two semifinal tickets will be contested by Dewa United, Borneo Hornbills, Bali United, and Pelita Jaya.

The duel for the first game of Borneo Hornbills vs Dewa United and Bali United vs Pelita Jaya will take place on July 18, 2024.

Borneo and Bali United will act as hosts first. Then in the second game which will be held on July 20, 2024, the turn will be Dewa United and Pelita Jaya who host opponents.

If the score is 1-1 in the two games, the deciding game will be held a day later or 21 July 2024 to determine who will go to the semifinals.
