JAKARTA Ferran Torres, the Spanish national team striker, was named Vivo Player of the Match in the Group B match which took place at the D\"usseldorf Arena, Dusseldorf, Monday 24 June. This match ended in Spain's 1-0 win over Albania, thanks to Ferran Torres' goal in the 13th minute.

Torres also expressed his pride in playing for Spain. "When I wore a Spanish uniform, I felt like playing for everyone, my family, and the people around who supported me. I am proud to wear this uniform," Torres said.

He also added about the importance of substitutes. "Players who come off the bench are very important because a lot of goals are scored at the end of the game. I want to make [election decisions] difficult for the coach," he added.

Torres also highlighted the current unity of the Spanish team which is very conducive. "We have a path ahead of us and we play phenomenally. We are a family, very closely. What's interesting about this team is that everyone is ready to be in the starting XI," he added.

Torres' game that night was indeed inspiring so he deserved to be the best player. "He was dangerous throughout the game, offering options between lines when Spain controlled the ball and showed high work levels when he didn't have the ball. One of Spain's most dangerous strikers and, finally, the winner of the game," said the UEFA Technical Observer Panel.
