Jakarta Electric PLN Becomes The Last Team To Final Four Proliga 2024

JAKARTA - Jakarta Electric PLN became the last women's team to secure a ticket to the 2024 Four Proliga Final.

Yolla Yuliana and her friends confirmed Final Four after overthrowing Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk Indonesia 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, and 25-22) at GOR Pangsuma, Pontianak, in the seventh week of the Second Round of the 2024 Proliga, Saturday, June 22, 2024.

The victory brought Electric PLN in fourth place with a total of 17 points. In fact, Bandung BJB Tandamata has a collection of more points, 18 points.

However, in the Proliga 2024 regulation, the owner of the victory is more of the main calculation. Electric PLN won seven wins throughout the regular round, while BJB Tandamata only won six.

This means that now the women's category is complete and has four teams that will fight in Final Four. Apart from Electric PLN, there are leaders in the Jakarta standings Popsivo Polwan, Jakarta BIN, and Jakarta Pertamina Enduro.

One last match in the women's category in the final week of the regular round between Popsivo Polwan and Jakarta BIN was no longer able to influence the Final Four team.

Meanwhile, in the men's category, they already have four teams for Final Four. They are Jakarta LavAni Allo Bank Electric, Palembang Bank SumselBabel, Jakarta STIN BIN, and Jakarta Bhayangkara Precision.

There are still three remaining matches in the men's category in the seventh week, aka the last regular round. However, Pertamina Pertamax vs STIN BIN, Bank SumselBabel vs Garuda Jaya, and Bhayangkara Presisi vs Sukun Badak matches have no longer affected Final Four teams.

The First Round of Final Four will be held at GOR Bung Tomo, Surabaya, on July 4-7, 2024. Then, Final Four of the Second Round will take place at the Jatidiri Sports Hall, Semarang, on July 11-14, 2024.
