The participants of the 2024 BTN Jakarta International Marathon (Jakim) have enlivened the Race Expo which was held at the Ballroom Hotel Aryaduta, Menteng, Jakarta, 20-22 June 2024.

At the Race Expo, the participants took a racepack while enjoying some interesting entertainment, such as DJ Elenara's performance, DJ Zabylla & Soul of Tone, Berdendang Run, and Sanada. In addition, there is also Expo Merchant featuring MSMEs and sponsors.

BTN's Corporate Secretary, Ramon Armando, said that BTN is very proud to be part of the Jakarta International Marathon, which is one of a series of celebrations for the anniversary of DKI Jakarta which has been held for more than a decade.

"The success of the BTN Jakarta International Marathon will be the success of all Jakarta residents to enliven Jakarta's anniversary," he said.

Participants who want to take a racepak can follow several terms and conditions. For example, it can only be taken by registered runners.

If participants are unable to attend, they can be represented with the condition that they bring a power of attorney signed by registered runners, carry a participant identity card and who represents it, representatives can only use one power of attorney to take a maximum racepack for three registered runners.

The BTN Jakarta International Marathon Racepack consists of several items, such as jerseys, string bags, BIG, and timing chips. Apart from racepacks, participants will also benefit from other benefits, such as e-racebooks, insurance, medals, and jerseys after completing the marathon to finish.

In the BTN Jakarta International Marathon this time, there are three categories contested, namely 10K, half marathon, and full marathon. All categories will start from the Monas Cross and finish at Gelora Bung Karno.

Ramon further revealed that the families of the 2024 BTN Jakim participants can also give encouragement and appreciation on the finish line.

Meanwhile, to support the event in the context of the DKI Jakarta Anniversary, the Jakarta Regional Government closed 36 roads in parts of Central Jakarta and South Jakarta starting at 02.00 WIB in the morning until 12.00 WIB in the afternoon on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

Then, traffic engineering will begin on Saturday, June 22, 2024, starting at 21.00 WIB.

Head of the Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, apologized and supported the people of Jakarta for this event.

"We apologize for the inconvenience experienced by the community. We hope that the community will also enliven and enliven Jakarta's anniversary, including the 2024 BTN Jakim event," said Syafrin.

The Jakarta Provincial Government admits that traffic engineering and road closure will certainly disrupt residents' journeys.

Apart from that, the Jakarta Provincial Government applies the principles of 3S (Security, Safety, and Sterile) in carrying out this event.

In addition to closing roads, sterilization of all activities including Car Free Day is also carried out. To support the smooth running of events, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared 16 alternative routes for people who need access along Sudirman-Thamrin.
