JAKARTA - Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti became the first Indonesian representatives to get a ticket to the quarter-finals of the Singapore Open 2024.
The eighth seed was supposed to play against the Ukrainian pair, Polina Buhrova/Yevheniia Kantemyr, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at noon.
However, the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) through an official statement confirmed that Apri/Fadia's opponent withdrew from the tournament.
"Apri/Fadia won the walkover (WO) over Polina Buhrova/Yevheniia Kantemyr who decided to withdraw from the Singapore Open 2024," wrote PBSI.

Apri/Fadia are the only Indonesian women's doubles to play in this event. They in the first half eliminated the Indian pair,men's Singhi/Ritika Thaker.
