Three Point Derrick White Determines NBA Finals Tickets For Boston Celtics

JAKARTA - The Boston Celtics won the NBA Final of the Eastern Region (Eastern Conference Finals) with a score of 4-0 against the Indiana Pacers.

The Celtics' victory in the fourth game took place at the home of Pacers, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, morning WIB.

Celtics closed the fourth game with a dramatic win of 105-102. Jayson Tatum and colleagues took the lead in the first quarter with a difference of one ball, 29-27.

They then fell behind in the second and third quarters. Luckily, at the end of the fourth quarter, they turned things around.

Three point Derrick White, with 43 seconds remaining, put them ahead 105-102 and lasted until it was over.

"It was a great shot. We were working on it all the time, reading two-on-one," Jaylen Brown said after scoring 29 points, six rebounds, and blocking the key with 65 seconds remaining to maintain the lead.

"Previously, I told White to stay ready and it was a great opportunity, a great opportunity to send us to the final," he said again.

White only scored 16 points. The only successful three-point shot from the corner was the winner of eight attempts. White provided a shot that will be remembered forever in Boston.

Celtics are now pursuing the 18th NBA title in history. They will face the winner between Dallas and Minnesota in the NBA Finals this season.

"We feel confident, we feel comfortable in any kind of game. We feel we have an answer for anything. We have to find the right one," White said on the NBA's official website.

Jaylen Brown then put the Boston Celtics one ball ahead with a close-range shot with 2 minutes 40 seconds remaining. Points were back in the 102-102 series.

White then buried Pacers' hopes of opening up opportunities to extend the Eastern Region Final game. Three points of fire failed to catch up again.

"They fought hard against us. They have self-respect as a team. They don't want to give up," said Tatum.

"I knew we would get it. It was a big time thing," he said again.

So far, Dallas Mavericks is seeded against Celtics in the NBA Finals 2023/2024.

They are already 3-0 ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The match for determining Mavericks vs Timberwolves will be presented on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
