In a follow-up match of the 2024 Volleyball Nations League which took place at the Maracanaturzinho Stadium, Rio De Jeneiro, Friday, Marlon Yant brought Cuba back to surprise after overthrowing the host Brazil and now beating Germany.

In the match against Germany, Cuban striker Marlon Yant became the most point contributor by recording 21 points (17 punches, three blocks and one service force) followed by Miguel Angel Lopez who recorded 18 points (17 punches and one block).
