Liga 1 2023/2024 Results: Bhayangkara FC Loses At The End Of The Season

JAKARTA Bhayangkara FC had to experience the bitter pill of defeat in their last match in Liga 1 2023/2024 against Persis Solo.

The Guardian was forced to go home without points by the visitors after a narrow loss of 0-1 in the 34th week of Liga 1 2023/2024 at the PTIK Stadium, South Jakarta, Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Alexis Messidoro scored the only winning goal for the visitors in the 90+3 minute. The goal was netted after he maximized his partner David Gonzalez's pass.

The result helped Persis stay in seventh place in the league final standings. They have a total of 50 points from the 34 matches played this season.

This is the 14th Persis victory in that period. In the rest of the match they got eight draws and lost 12 defeats.

The result against Persis was Bhayangkara's 18th defeat. They got five wins and the rest drew in 11 other matches.

Bhayangkara is one of three teams that have been relegated this season. Accompanying them playing in League 2 next season are Persikabo 1973 and RANS Nusantara.

Meanwhile, in the top position the standings are filled by Borneo who won the Regular Series. Pesut Etam will continue to the Championship Series with Persib Bandung, Bali United, and Madura United.

Championship Series is the second stage of Liga 1 which has just begun to be implemented this season. The champions will meet the bottom teams in the top four, while the second and third positions will face each other.

The fourth team match will be played by home and away. The winning team will meet again to win the 2023/2024 Liga 1 title and the losing team will win third place.
