All Proliga 2024 Matches Will Apply Video Challenge

JAKARTA PLN Mobile Proliga 2024 will use video challenge technology from the start to the end of the competition.

"Using video challenges from the start. This will make the game more exciting and we are more confident in the decisions of the referee," said God.

The highest level match of the national volleyball league will start on Thursday, April 25, 2024 to 20 and July 21, 2024.

The men's defending champion team, Jakarta LavAni Allobank, against the newcomer team, Jakarta Garuda Jaya, will be the opening match of the competition. Their duel will take place at GOR Amongrogo, Yogyakarta.

This year, Proliga will be enlivened by foreign players, such as Giovanna Milana, who previously defended the South Korean club, Redmen, together with Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi.

Gia, as she is known, will be one of the attractions of the competition with her club, Pertamina Enduro. He will later become Megawati's opponent who strengthens Jakarta BIN.

Chairman of the Central Board of the Indonesian Volleyball Association (PP PBVSI), Imam Sudjarwo, said the presence of players like Gia would certainly make competition more attractive.

"Moreover, this performance involves foreign players from several countries who have well-known volleyball players. Of course it will add to the excitement," he said.

PLN Mobile Proliga 2024 will be held in nine cities. The cities are Yogyakarta, Semarang, Palembang, Gresik, Bandung, Malang, Pontianak, Kediri, and Solo.

Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Palembang will host regular rounds I (April 25-12 May 2024), then Gresik for regulars I and II (May 16-19 2024), then Bandung, Malang, and Pontianak for regulars II (6-23 June 2024).

Meanwhile, Kediri and Solo are for Final Four (4-14 July 2024). The competition then closed the Grand Final match which took place in Yogyakarta on 20 and 21 July 2024.

However, for the Grand Final match, there are plans to be moved to the Indonesia Arena. If in the final schedule the arena is not used for other events, it will most likely be used for the 2024 Proliga final.
