Red Economy Coach Opens To Receive Megawati Again

JAKARTA Red Economy Coach Ko Hee Jin is very open to accepting Megawati Hanggestri Pertiwi back into her squad to navigate the 2024/2025 season.

Megawati had a significant impact on Red Totaling during the 20232/2024 season yesterday. She successfully entered the top ten scorers of the highest number of South Korea's volleyball league, V-League.

Thanks to this contribution, it is possible for Megawati to return to playing there. Moreover, she is now registering for the trial to get the green light from participating clubs.

"It all goes back to Megawati herself. Let her heart decide later," said Ko Hee Jin at a press conference at the Mulia Hotel, Jakarta, on Friday, April 19 evening WIB.

Last season, Megawati was chosen by Ko Hee Jin after a demonstration in the trial. He is one of seven volleyball players who completed the Asian player quota in the competition.

While defending Redmen, the 24-year-old player scored a total of 736 points. He helped the team qualify for the semifinals of the playoffs and then finished in the big.

"Mega is a very great player and I have no doubts about his abilities. He has very good personality. I didn't know there was this surfing foreign player adapting," said Hee Jin.

Megawati will strengthen Jakarta BIN in Proliga 2024 which starts tomorrow week. After this competition ends, he will most likely return to South Korea.

Currently Megawati is in Jakarta with Red knowledge. He and the team will face Indonesia All Stars in an exhibition match at the Indonesia Arena, Saturday, April 20 tonight.

The match between Redmen against Indonesia All Stars was held under the title Fun Volleyball 2024. This match also marks the opening of the highest caste of the national volleyball league, Proliga 2024.
