Indonesia All Stars Ready To Fight Against Red Badminton

JAKARTA The captain of the Indonesian All Stars team, Agustin Wulandhari, confirmed that his team had made preparations and is now ready to fight against the South Korean volleyball club, Redmen.

Redmen come to Indonesia to undergo an exhibition match against Indonesia All Stars at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday, April 20, 2024.

"It's quite proud of them to come. This will provide a new experience. We will also try to show the best for Indonesia (All Stars)," said Agustin.

Red Economy, reinforced by Indonesian volleyball player Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, and reached the semifinals of the 2024 South Korean Volleyball League playoffs, comes with full strength to face this match.

Agustin said the arrival of Redmen with full strength was something special. He also hopes that this match can encourage the development of Indonesian volleyball.

"If it makes me very happy to come to Indonesia to increase Indonesia's volleyball motivation, especially for juniors, younger siblings, who will continue the volleyball generation," said Agustin.

Redmen suddenly became a byword among national volleyball lovers since Megawati was recruited last season.

The presence of the volleyball player nicknamed Megatron helped the club penetrate the semifinals of the playoffs for the first time in seven years.

Megawati Hanggetri will later defend Red Spark against Indonesia All Stars. The match will mark the opening of the highest level of the Indonesian volleyball league, Proliga 2024.
