Indonesia's Schedule At Thomas & Uber Cup 2024

JAKARTA The men's and women's team tournament Thomas & Uber Cup 2024 will take place at the Gamesium of the Hi-Tech Zone Sports Center, Chengdu, China, from April 27 to May 5, 2024.

The Indonesian men's team are in Group C with India, Thailand, and England. The Uber Cup squad entered Group C with Japan, Hong Kong, and Uganda.

Judging from the schedule released by BWF, the representative of the Indonesian men's team will first face England in the first match of the group stage, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 18.00 local time.

Two days after that, Jonathan Christie and his friends will face Thailand at 09.30 local time. The last match against defending Indian champions took place on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 09.30 local time.

Meanwhile, the women's team will start the journey against Hong Kong on the first day of the tournament, to be precise Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 13.00 local time.

After that, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and her friends will meet Uganda on April 29, 2024, followed by the last match against Japan two days later.

The Central Board of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI) summoned 10 male athletes and 10 female athletes to strengthen the Indonesian team in the 2024 Thomas & Uber Cup.

The Thomas Cup squad is filled with men's singles Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Jonatan Christie, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, and Alwi Farhan. The double sector is inhabited by Fajar Alfian, Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Bagas Maulana, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Leo Rolly Carnando, and Daniel Marthin.
