Justin Hubner Has Leave For Qatar To Join The U-23 Indonesian National Team

Justin Hubner was allowed by Cerezo Osaka to defend the U-23 Indonesian national team (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team added ammunition ahead of the second match of Group A of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup against Australia U-23.

PSSI confirmed that Justin Hubner had left for Qatar from Japan to follow his colleagues on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Justin is reported to have obtained permission from his club, Cerezo Osaka. He is scheduled to arrive in Qatar on Thursday, April 18, 2024, morning local time.

"Alhamdulillah, in the midst of the challenges faced by the players, especially in the first match against the hosts, finally Hubner can join."

The arrival of Hubner is very crucial for the balance of the U-23 Indonesian national team. You see, you have to lose Ivar Jenner and Ramadhan Sananta who got a red card in the inaugural match of Group A of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup.

As is known, Garuda Muda lost 0-2 to the host Qatar U-23 in a match that was colored by various controversies. In addition to giving the hosts a penalty, the red card received by the U-23 Indonesian national team also reaped debate.
