Persita And Persib Share Points 3-3, Maung Is Still Safe In Runner-up Position

JAKARTA - In the 1st week League match, Persita Tangerang and Persib Bandung drew 3-3 in an exciting battle at the Indomilk Arena Stadium on April 15, 2024.

Persib Bandung started the match quickly, when Febri Haryadi opened the scoring with his goal in the 5th minute. They then doubled their lead with Ciro's goal in the 24th minute, making the score 2-0 until the first half ended.

However, Persita bounced back in the second half. Irsyad Maulana started a comeback with his goal in the 49th minute, changing the score to 1-2. Ramiro Fergonzi then equalized to 2-2 with a penalty in the 58th minute.

Persib Bandung took the lead again after David Silva scored in the 90th minute, scoring 2-3. However, Persita did not give up. In injury time (90+5'), Fahreza Sudin scored the equalizer goal, ending the match with a score of 3-3.

This draw makes both teams have to settle for sharing points. Persita showed a strong fighting spirit to secure this result in front of her own supporters. Meanwhile, Persib Bandung had to admit their opponent's toughness in the match which was very tight.

With this result, Persita is in 15th position which is still prone to being evicted into the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Persib remains in a competitive position in the Liga 1 standings. Maung Bandung, increasing the tension of competition at the top of this domestic competition.
