Losing Against Palace At Anfield, Liverpool Failed To Top Of The Standings

Liverpool suffered a crushing blow when they lost 1-0 against Crystal Palace in the English Premier League match, Sunday, April 14, 2024 evening WIB. The defeat at home at Anfield Stadium thwarted Liverpool to the top of the standings. Liverpool again suffered a painful defeat. In the middle of last week, Liverpool gave up with a pretty landslide 3-0 when they hosted Atalanta in the first match of the Europa League quarter-finals.

A shocking result as Liverpool played at home at Anfield. The defeat still had an impact on the Reds' performance when they returned to acting as hosts by hosting Palace in domestic competitions.

The defeat was clearly a tough blow for Liverpool. This is the first time since October 2022 Liverpool have lost at Anfield in the Premier League.

Not only that, Jurgen Klopp's team failed to regain the top position of the standings currently controlled by Manchester City.

Until the end of the match, the score remained 1-0 for Palace. The result made Palace ranked 14th and ended a streak of 10 games without a win outside the home.

This is their first away win since November when they won against Burnley.
