Paris Saint-Germain Vs. Barcelona: Host Efforts To End Champions League Curses

JAKARTA - The French League champions are competing with the Spanish League champions to fight for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, when Paris Saint-Germain welcomes Barcelona at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris, on Wednesday, April 10 or Thursday morning WIB.

Luis Enrique reunited with his former club after successfully bringing his team through a 4-1 aggregate win over Real Sociedad in the round of 16, while La Blaugrana won 4-2 over Italy champions Napoli.

An eight-point gap into the top of the Spanish League standings. Real Madrid, with eight games remaining may not be overtaken by Barcelona, but PSG is well aware that the Blaugrana has a sweet track record when facing pressure.

However, their meeting of two legs in the last 16 of the 2020-21 season ended with a landslide 5-2 victory for the French team that ended Lionel Messi's farewell; Barcelona can now take revenge by giving the same treatment to Mbappe who will join Real Madrid next season.
