Leading The Last Exercise Of The U-17 Indonesian Women's National Team, Satoru Mochizuki Affirms The Criteria For Incan Players

JAKARTA - Satoru Mochizuki as the coach of the U-17 Indonesian Women's National Team emphasized the main criteria that will be used as a reference in choosing players. This was revealed by Satoru after team training on Friday, April 5, 2024z evening WIB, at Field B, Senayan.

In the third exercise which was also the last exercise before the Eid holiday, Satoru had held an internal game. This was deliberately done by the coach to find out the players' abilities.

In fact, he had time to join the field with the players. Satoru said it was the right moment to build intensity in communication on the team.

"We are just starting to form. So, we want intense communication. It can be done by playing together so that players can be familiar," said the coach after leading the exercise.

"The easiest way, yes, by playing together like before. In addition, the moment is also right. Because this is the last exercise, I think this is the right timing," he said.

From this opportunity to play together, Satoru Mochizuki is also increasingly able to see the potential of outstanding players. He then explained in detail the criteria for the players he would recruit.

"Basically I want players who can reach the world level. So, he is ready to be brought to the world level."

"So, what I want is basically to find players who have special abilities, advantages, such as fast running, strong defensive one-on-one, fast stopping shooting, accurate passes. In one team, he can also work quickly together and be able to support each other in the match," he said.

The U-17 Indonesian Women's National Team exercise was held in preparation for the training camp (TC) in Bali in May 2024. The TC will be a practice ahead of the 2024 U-17 Women's Asian Cup which will be held on May 6-17, 2024 in Bali.

The Indonesian U-17 Women's National Team is in Group A along with the Philippines, North Korea, and South Korea.
