Having A Strong Mental, Xavi Yamal & Cubarsi Can Play In The European Elite Team

JAKARTA - Barcelona, Yamal and Cubarsi young players are key players who brought the Blaugrana into the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in four years.

Coach Xavi Hernandez said that the two young Barcelona players have strong capacity and mentality to play in elite European clubs.

Yamal is the youngest player and goalscorer to strengthen Spain when he was 16 and 50 days old last year. Meanwhile, Cubarsi is the youngest defender to ever strengthen the national team when he was 17 years and 58 days old.

"They have to maintain their level Barca is the highest team in the world of football," Xavi said as reported by AFP, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, March 30.

"Many are at the elite level, but keeping it very difficult. But they can, they have everything, mentality and capacity. So I think we have two players who can determine an era at this club even in the world," said the former Spanish national team midfielder.

Although Yamal is still a teenager, said Xavi, the right-wing striker has strong calm and mentality to deal with the opposing team defender.

"Men mentally, I see him as a happy person, a fun person, he enjoys it, and I see he is happy," added Xavi.

Barcelona, who are in second place with eight points from leaders Real Madrid, will face Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, March 32. After that, Barcelona will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on April 10 in Paris.

"I'm more worried about (Las Palmas) than the game against PSG which is only a few days away," continued Xavi.

"We are focused on tomorrow, it is very important to get the three points to put greater pressure on Real Madrid," he concluded.
