Juventus Crisis Front Player, Allegri Finds Solution Against Lazio

JAKARTA - Juventus is in crisis with the front players following the absence of strikers Arkadiusz Milik, Dusan Vlahovic and Carlos Alcaraz. Coach Massimiliano Allegri also looked for a solution when Juve faced Lazio in the Italian Serie A match, Sunday, March 31, 2024 in the morning WIB.

Juve went through a crisis by losing the forwards when the team needed a win. Owned is still recovering from the muscle injury he experienced.

Allegri can actually rely on Federico Chiesa and the young star of the Turkish national team, Kenan Yildiz. But he also called Nikola Sekulov, a winger from the Juve NextGen team who competed in Serie C.

Sekulov is actually a midfielder. He just returned to join Juve after being loaned to Cremonese in January 2024.

In Serie C competition, Sekulov, who has played for the Italian U-20 national team, has scored four goals and two assists in 12 plays for the Bianconeri.

He has also been in Juve's first squad since 2019. However, he has never played in Serie A matches.

Will Sekulov be positioned number 9 in the match against Lazio? The opportunity is quite open if Allegri asks Sekulov to join The Old Lady squad.

However, Allegri can prepare other options, namely by placing Yildiz as a center forward. Moreover, this 18-year-old striker has been maximized in that position in the Turkish national team.

Yildiz is usually placed as a second striker. But national team coach Vincenzo Montella played him as a single striker with a 4-2-3-1 scheme in the test match against Austria.

The result was not disappointing. Yildiz played for 90 minutes even though Turkey lost 6-1.

Yildiz is not the first time to appear as a center forward. Previously, in the Juve and Bayern Munich junior teams, he played in that position.

It's just that he was transferred to behind the striker when he entered the senior team.

Allegri can be inspired by Montella who dares to place Yildiz as the sole spearhead. However, if Allegri plays a 3-5-2 scheme, Yildiz can be dueted with Moise Kean.
