Manchester United Interested, But Joselu Wants To Be A Reserve Player At Real Madrid

JAKARTA - Manchester United will make a surprise transfer when they target Real Madrid striker Joselu Mota. However, this veteran striker seems to feel at home in Madrid even though he only has a loan status and will often sit on the bench next season.

Joselu was loaned by Madrid from Espanyol last season. Espanyol, who was caste and competed in the second caste of La Liga Spain, did not mind loaning a 34-year-old striker. Moreover, the club can save Joselu's salary expenses whose contract will only expire in 2025.

Madrid also only need to pay 500 thousand euros to Espanyol for the player's loan.
